Disguised reshape roster ahead of NA Stage 2

Garbis "Vanskus" Vizoian1 min read

Disguised have made a series of changes to their lineup ahead of OWCS NA Stage 2, releasing substitute players Julian "Raikker" Bevien-Guevarra and Jack "Reyzr" Francis before confirming that main support Joseph "Lep" Cambriani has also departed the roster following a hiatus announcement.

Team manager Albert "yeHHH" Yeh clarified that the move was made at Lep's request and that the organisation had originally planned to keep him on the roster for Stage 2.

In his place, Disguised have signed flex support player KiWii, who was most recently called up to represent Great Britain at the Overwatch World Cup. Great Britain have since qualified for the OWWC Group Stage LAN in Busan with KiWii playing flex support through all their online qualifier matches.

KiWii's arrival is an interesting tactical signal for the team. With Simon "Scyle" Broström also a flex support by trade, Disguised may be moving toward a double flex support structure (unless the Swedish veteran has a secret Lucio in the closet).

Disguised survived the Stage 1 promotion/relegation tournament to retain their OWCS slot. With Stage 2 underway, the org will be hoping a reshuffled support line can help the team take a step forward.

Current Disguised roster:

  • Alexander "Tred" Madgwick-Smith — Tank
  • Evan "PGE" Ngo — DPS
  • Julian "Rokit" Pizana — DPS
  • KiWii - Support
  • Simon "Scyle" Broström - Support
  • Alex "ByZenith" Ames - Head coach
  • Ethan "Capitology" Walker - Coach
  • Caleb "McGravy" McGarvey - Coach
  • Robin "Zei" Sidhu - Coach
