Team Falcons have announced the return of Choi “Junkbuck” Jae-won. He previously coached the team to a World Finals win in 2024, a stage title, and second place at the Dallas Major.

In 2025, Junkbuck took his winning ways to EMEA, coaching Al Qadsiah. He found similar domestic success, winning OWCS EMEA Stage 2 and finishing second on the other two occasions; they fell short to Virtus.pro’s undefeated Stage 1 and then to fierce rivals Twisted Minds in Stage 3.

Most notably, Junkbuck led Al Qadsiah to unprecedented levels of international success from EMEA teams. He proved that the region had what it took to win at LAN, taking Al Qadsiah to two Grand Finals in 2025. Despite finishing second on both occasions, Junkbuck proved his coaching expertise by taking a team with no international appearances under their belt, all the way to the top.

Falcons did not have the dominant 2025 many expected at the start of the season, but a change in coaching personnel with knowledge and proven success within the organisation may be the catalyst for another year at the top with the Falcons.
