Disguised assistant coach Capitology steps away

Disguised have announced that assistant coach Ethan "Capitology" Walker is stepping away from the organisation, the second coaching departure in quick succession following the recent release of head coach Alex "ByZenith" Ames. 

Capitology shared his thoughts on the move, saying he "really enjoyed my time with DSG despite the rough placements," but cited financial realities as the driving factor behind his decision to step away from competitive Overwatch.

Capitology brought valuable experience to Disguised, having previously coached Timeless and TSM in 2024 and, most recently, NTMR before joining the DSG organisation for their debut OWCS season. His exit leaves Caleb “McGravey” McGarvey as head coach with Robin "Zei" Sidhu as the sole remaining assistant coach heading into the Stage 2 Promotion/Relegation tournament.

The departures come at a turbulent time for Disguised. The team finished both Stage 1 and Stage 2 at the bottom of the standings, heading into the Promotion/Relegation tournament. They survived Stage 1's tournament and face another relegation battle in August, now with a significantly slimmer coaching staff.
