📝 FACEIT team entry reveals 2026 Al Qadsiah roster
A FACEIT team registration for the OWCS 2026 Open Qualifiers has revealed a completely new lineup for world runners-up Al Qadsiah.
The roster features Majed “SirMajed” Alrashied, Ilari “Vestola” Vestola, Jesús “Galaa” Núñez López, Yoo “Taejong” Tae-jong, and Lee “Ade” Ji-hwan, with Son “Undine” Young-woo stepping in as head coach. Much like the recent Anyone’s Legend reveal, the move was discovered through FACEIT’s public team listings ahead of the Open Qualifiers.

Unlike some other returning OWCS cores, such as Geekay Esports and Anyone’s Legend, Al Qadsiah will not receive direct placement into Phase 2. While three members of the roster appeared in OWCS 2025 Stage 3, only two, Vestola and Galaa, were part of the same lineup. As a result, the team does not meet the direct qualification requirements and must begin their campaign in Phase 1 of the Open Qualifiers on February 21. For a team that finished second at the 2025 World Finals, for them, the long road back to OWCS will begin all the way from the back.
In 2025, Vestola and Galaa represented Virtus.pro. They went undefeated in OWCS Stage 1 and secured appearances at both Champions Clash and the Midseason Championship.
Taejong competed in EMEA during OWCS Stage 1 with Team Vision, though the team was relegated to FACEIT Master League. In Stage 2, he transitioned to China with ROC Esports, qualifying for the Midseason Championship. He has not appeared in OWCS competition since.
Ade spent the 2025 season with WAE alongside his younger brother Lee “Mealgaru” Jeong-hwan. The roster briefly played under All Gamers Global after the Chinese organisation acquired the team. The roster finished third in all three OWCS 2025 stages, but came just short of securing a LAN appearance.
SirMajed’s return to competitive play may be the most intriguing storyline. A member of Saudi Arabia’s 2023 World Cup-winning squad, he later served as a substitute for Team Falcons during their 2024 World Championship run. In 2025, he transitioned into a content creator role within the organisation and has not competed since.
Leading the roster is Undine, who previously coached Taejong during his stint on Team Vision. More recently, Undine guided REJECT to a second-place finish in OWCS Stage 3 Japan, but ultimately failed to achieve a World Finals qualification for the Japanese side.
This rebuild comes after the departure of Al Qadsiah’s highly successful former coach Choi “Junkbuck” Jae-won, as well as the prolific Saudi duo Ziyad “ZIYAD” Alkathiri and Abdulelah “LBBD7” Alfaifi; all key members of the roster that reached the 2025 World Finals.
The 2026 iteration of Al Qadsiah looks dramatically different. The pedigree is there, but cohesion needs to follow quickly. Before the team can think about another deep international run, however, they must survive Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the OWCS Open Qualifiers.
