T1 have announced the signing of Kim "GgulTaek" Jeong-youn as a coach for their Overwatch roster.

GgulTaek arrives at T1 after leaving ZETA DIVISION in mid-August, citing health concerns that arose before he joined the team at the start of the year. He joined ZETA in February and was part of the coaching staff through a rebuild that delivered both Korea Stage 1 and Stage 2 titles, as well as the 2026 Midseason Championship.

GgulTaek's move follows a turbulent 2025, in which he was dismissed by Geekay Esports mid-season over repeated absences. His spell at ZETA went some way to restoring his standing.

At T1, he joins a coaching staff led by Yun "RUSH" Hee-won alongside Kim "Fleta" Byung-sun. T1's most recent international outing came at the Midseason Championship, where they finished third, falling to eventual champions ZETA DIVISION.

The move reunites GgulTaek with a top-tier Korean roster just weeks after his departure and gives T1 a coach with recent experience inside the organisation who beat them in Paris.
