📝 RØDE ONSIDE GAMING sign SP1NT and retain majority of 2025 roster
RØDE ONSIDE GAMING have signed An “SP1NT” Woo-jin and Jung “Doo” Hyun-doo, and have re-signed Kim “Attack” Jun-hwa, Chon “Ado” Gi-hyeon, Lim “F4zE” Si-hyun, Kim "irony" Baek-Kang, and Jung "Kilo" Jin-woo.
On December 18, 2025, the Korean team also signed a naming sponsorship with audio brand RØDE for its Overwatch 2 team, rebranding the team's full name to RØDE ONSIDE GAMING.

ONSIDE released their entire roster following the end of the 2025 season. On December 17, Ado was re-signed as coach, ending a long career as a player that spanned back to 2017. On January 10, Attack returned to the roster, becoming the second player from the 2025 squad to do so.

Doo, a former Apex Legends player and coach for D4RK Esports and PANTHERA, has been with ONSIDE since November 2025 as an aim coach. He was announced to be working as a coach for ONSIDE’s Overwatch and VALORANT rosters on December 17.

ONSIDE announced SP1NT’s signing on January 15, following his departure from Crazy Raccoon. He made his OWCS debut with Poker Face in early 2025, placing 8th overall in the first two stages of the season, before signing with Crazy Raccoon for Stage 3. He played in a double Flex DPS lineup and stunned Team Falcons in their opening match, sweeping them 3-0 and earning SP1NT the Player of the Match award. They would eventually place 1st in the Stage and the Road to World Finals, and 3rd at Dreamhack Stockholm in the World Finals.

F4zE, a former veteran player, began his coaching career with ONSIDE in OWCS 2025 Korea Stage 2, and following contract renegotiation, has returned to the roster as head coach.

irony also makes his return to the ONSIDE roster after they initially picked him up last May. The Flex Support player has been in and out of Tier 1 Overwatch for many years, previously playing for the Hangzhou Spark, Vegas Eternal, and Twisted Minds. He had a turbulent 2025, missing out on the Champions Clash with Twisted Minds after losing to The Ultimates. He was later replaced by Simple prior to the start of Stage 2. He’s been in the scene for a long time, and the new-look ONSIDE could be the roster where he finally finds his time to shine.

Kilo rounds out ONSIDE’s current roster, returning from his stint on the team last year. Since his OWL days, he’s played for SLT, Xero, and Alt Tab, and only Alt Tab managed to scratch Tier 1, qualifying for Stage 2 of OWCS Korea before being picked up by ONSIDE. His return to Tier 1 has been quiet so far, but the organization has opted to bring him back for 2026; however, it’s still unclear whether the team will bring a third DPS similar to the previous stage or fully lean on SP1NT and Kilo’s partnership.

ONSIDE GAMING entered OWCS Korea in Stage 2 of the 2025 season when they signed the From The Gamer roster. ONSIDE went 1-7 in the Regular Season, only picking up a win against the eventually relegated VEC; however, by beating both Poker Face and Old Ocean in the Last Chance Qualifier, they qualified for the Stage 2 playoffs. They were swept by ZETA DIVISION and finished in 5th-6th place, coming up short of the Midseason Championship.
When the final stage of the season was over, ONSIDE had improved their record to 4-4 after bringing Kellan and Knife back from their stints in NA. This showing placed them in their second consecutive Last Chance Qualifier, where they swiftly qualified for playoffs by beating WAE 3-0, guaranteeing them a spot in Korea’s Road to World Finals tournament. But once again, they fell in their first playoff match against ZETA DIVISION, losing 4-1.
Their low placement in the playoffs meant they would face elimination right off the bat in the Road to World Finals Play-In, and despite putting up a fight, Team Falcons ended their season in a five-map affair.
ONSIDE’s 2025 was a year of highs and lows, and the organization has shown they're willing to bring back pieces of the roster and staff who showed promise, as well as make moves to acquire promising young talent. It is still early in the offseason, however, and it remains to be seen who ONSIDE will bring into the fold in the coming weeks.
The current ONSIDE GAMING roster is:

- DPS - An “SP1NT” Woo-jin
- DPS - Jung “Kilo” Jin-woo
- Support - Kim “irony” Baek-kang
- Coach - Lim “F4zE” Si-hyun
