After an up-and-down season, Korean OWCS Partner Team T1 has officially announced the departures of DPS player Lee "Viper" Jung-woong and support player Kim "vigilante" Joon.

Viper joined the organisation at the start of the 2025 season, and rotated in and out of the starting roster alongside Hong "Proud" Suk-jin and Kim "ZEST" Hyun-woo. While he mostly remained on the bench in favour of ZEST, Viper’s clutch Genji play was crucial in preventing an upset loss to Team CC at the 2025 World Finals.

Vigilante joined T1 after their disappointing results in Stage 1, filling in support after the release of An "OPENER" Gi-beom. Since joining the organisation, vigilante has aided the team’s regional success and helped the team reach the remaining international LAN events, placing 4th at the Midseason Championship and finishing 5th-6th at the World Finals.

The departures of both players will raise many questions about T1’s future. Although Viper largely remained on the bench, he brought a lot of flexibility to the team’s DPS options, which vigilante helped elevate further with his support play.

The OWCS rostermania rumour mill is in full swing; however, at the time of writing, T1 has yet to confirm who will replace both players.
