Team Liquid have announced Colin "Coluge" Arai as their newest roster addition, marking his return to Tier 1 Overwatch since 2024.

While Coluge has been a player in the collegiate scene for Winthrop University, he played the role of a substitute in order to prioritize other esports, allowing for Boston β€œInfekted” Fine to take the tank position. He was briefly signed to the M80 roster in OWCS 2024 and travelled to the Esports World Cup, where the team finished 9th-12th.

Throughout 2025, Coluge remained on the Winthrop roster as a backup player while he played in Marvel Rivals for Sentinels and Team Envy. Team Envy has since disbanded their Marvel Rivals operations, leaving Coluge as a free agent.

Team Liquid has not had a sixth player since releasing Lee "KNIFE" Seon-woo in 2025, however, OWCS rosters are required to contain six players. While Coluge brings off-tank options to their compositions that Infekted lacks, it is currently unclear as to the extent Team Liquid will utilize a second tank option.

Team Liquid and Coluge will kick-start their competitive play when Stage 1 begins on March 21.
