The team announced the move on social media Friday, with Spacestation Gaming confirming Ultraviolet’s departure in a separate post.

In a post on X, Ultraviolet thanked SSG for allowing him to explore his options and said he’s excited to get to work with Team Liquid.

Ultraviolet played under the SSG banner during Stages 1 and 2, helping lead the organization to a pair of Top 8 finishes at the OWCS Champions Clash and Midseason Championship.

Team Liquid’s new support player already has some existing chemistry with part of the team. Ultraviolet recently competed at the Overwatch World Cup on Team USA with Elliot “TR33” Chu and Xavier “zeruhh” Zambrano. He also won the Overwatch Collegiate Open and Varsity titles with zeruhh in April with Winthrop University.

Spacestation has yet to announce who will be replacing Ultraviolet as the team’s new flex support.

Both Team Liquid and Spacestation return to competition in Stage 3, which kicks off on October 10.
