📝 Vestola and JaeWoo leave Virtus.pro

Virtus.pro has announced the departure of Ilari “Vestola” Vestola and Kim “JaeWoo” Jae-woo.

The two saw great success during their time on the team, with both being part of the team that went undefeated and won Stage 1 of OWCS 2025. They also placed 3rd in the following stage in EMEA, and qualified for two of 2025’s LAN events. Including a memorable escape from the group of death at the Midseaosn Championship.

The only confirmed member of Virtus.pro heading into 2026 is Head Coach, Cho "SMASH" Bee-won. While their most recent signing, Kevin "kevster" Persson, is expected to be a top priority to lockdown. The status of the remaining Virtus.pro members has yet to be confirmed.

A disappointing 5/6th result in Stage 3, which saw them miss out on the World Finals, has provided an early opportunity to plan for 2026 as Virtus.pro will be keen to ensure the missed major was just a blip.
