Al Qadsiah roster head for the exit before Stage 3

Almost the entire Al Qadsiah roster have publicly announced that they are looking for new teams, leaving the organisation's future in Overwatch unclear.

Four players posted looking-for-team messages across August 26 and 27: Jesús "Galaa" Núñez López, Ziyad "zox" Murdhi Aldosarie, Majed "SirMajed" Alrashied and Talal "KORZ" Alharbi.

Two more had already begun searching earlier in the summer. Yoo "Taejong" Tae-jong posted on July 8 and has since been announced as part of RØDE ZANSIDE GAMING's Stage 3 roster. Lee "Ade" Ji-hwan announced his own search on July 16 and has not yet confirmed a destination.

Ilari "Vestola" Vestola is the only member of the roster who has not publicly announced that he is looking for a new organisation.

The organisation has not commented on the departures, and its intentions remain unclear. The scale and timing of the announcements have prompted speculation that Al Qadsiah are either leaving Overwatch entirely or rebuilding with a new roster for Stage 3, but neither has been confirmed.

Al Qadsiah were one of the most successful organisations in EMEA over the past two seasons. They won OWCS 2025 EMEA Stage 2, finished second at the Midseason Championship during the Esports World Cup, and ended 2025 as runners-up at the World Finals in Stockholm.

The announcements come just two weeks after OWTV reported that former Al Qadsiah player Kristian "Kellex" Keller, along with two other players who spoke on condition of anonymity, said they were still owed prize money from the 2025 season.

No connection has been established between that reporting and the current round of roster departures. The players who announced searches this week are not the players who spoke to OWTV, and none of them have publicly given a reason for leaving.
