Former Florida Mayhem champion Gunba confirmed as Al Qadsiah coach
Jordan "Gunba" Graham has been coaching Al Qadsiah, as confirmed in his interview with OWTV. While the Saudi organisation has yet to make an official announcement, Gunba has been coaching the team since the Saudi eLeague 2026 Championship, where Al Qadsiah took first place.
Gunba joins the team with a proven coaching pedigree dating back to the Overwatch League, when he led Florida Mayhem to an Overwatch League playoffs title in 2023. He most recently coached ENCE through OWCS EMEA Stage 1 and Stage 2 in 2024, guiding the team to a second-place finish in both.
His arrival at Al Qadsiah followed with the signing of Ziyad "Zox" Aldosarie, who immediately stepped into the starting lineup in place of Majed “SirMajed” Alrashied. The roster and coaching change has paid early dividends. Al Qadsiah looked markedly improved compared to their Stage 1 form, finishing the Stage 2 regular season in third place. The team swept Geekay Esports 3-0 and pushed both Virtus.pro and Twisted Minds to five-map series.
Gunba's biggest test with the team comes this weekend, when Al Qadsiah face Virtus.pro in the playoffs on July 3. A single series win would be enough to punch their ticket to the Midseason Championship.
To go further in depth on his return to the scene, OWTV sat down with Gunba for an interview covering his decision to return, roster moves, and how the game has changed since then.
