KIVIS and Attack complete Team Liquid Stage 2 roster

Team Liquid have announced the signings of support player Jeong "KIVIS" Yeon-woo, coach Lim "F4zE" Si-hyun, and tank player Kim “Attack” Jun-hwa ahead of OWCS 2026 NA Stage 2. Attack and F4zE arrive from RØDE ONSIDE GAMING, KIVIS from ZAN Esports, which recently merged with ONSIDE to form RØDE ZANSIDE GAMING on May 20.

The NA organisation also extended their thanks to ONSIDE and ZAN for facilitating the transfers and made special note of KIVIS’s successful trial run with the rest of TL.

KIVIS, 22, spent the 2026 Korea Stage 1 with ZAN Esports before the organisation folded into ZANSIDE. The support player also had a brief stint with ONSIDE's Korean squad earlier in 2025 before moving on to Old Ocean. Attack is an off-tank player noted for his D.Va play and played a major role in ONSIDE’s impressive Stage 1 run. F4zE served as ONSIDE’s head coach during that same period, bringing coaching experience from the Korean competitive scene across to Liquid's NA setup.

The moves represent the most significant roster overhaul Team Liquid have made since returning to Overwatch as an OWCS Partner Team in January 2025. Liquid finished third in OWCS NA Stage 1 this year, falling short of Champions Clash qualification. With Stage 2 on the horizon, the organisation has opted for a more significant talent shakeup rather than staying the course.

Team Liquid's 2025 season was one of incremental progress. The team placed third in NA Stage 1, then finished as runners-up in Stage 2, qualifying for the Midseason Championship. The team finished the year by winning the OWCS NA Stage 3, but ultimately delivered another disappointing run in international competition. The 2026 season brought fresh adversity before it even began, with Rupal “Rupal” Zaman released days before the start of Stage 1 following an incident during scrimmages. A makeshift support solution in Yasser “Escanor” Alotaibi ultimately fell short, contributing to a third-place finish and a missed Champions Clash. The additions of KIVIS and Attack — both Korean imports — signal Liquid's determination to address those shortcomings heading into Stage 2. The arrival of F4zE as a coach also injects Korean coaching pedigree into a staff led by head coach Cas "Casores" van Andel and assistant coach Danny "Danny" Mychakov.

OWCS NA Stage 2 is scheduled to run from June 13 to July 5.
